Pottery #0 - Teatime

.

Da Hong Pao tea (my current favourite) from Scott at Teaculture,
a glass gaiwan, and a Joel Blum Yunomi.

My selection of Yixing teapots.
.

These small Yixing teapots are made by a wonderful Chinese craftsperson called
Ling Yan Qin.  Here are some detail images of the pots and a certificate of
authenticity:

Unknown Ming-era artist

This painting is one of a series (now housed in the Palace Museum of Beijing) which portrays the career of the
Ming-dynasty era Chinese official Xu Xianqing. Xu was a native of Yixing (west of Lake Tai). He received his jinshi
degree in 1568 and eventually became Vice-Minister of Personnel. His year of birth is unknown, although it is
known that he died in 1602.

Date: 16th or early 17th century, late Ming Dynasty
