When I took the Hibiscus photos the other day (see the post here), I also took
some additional photos, some of which are here (the first and the last one). In
honour of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras I decided to do a pink post,
and took some new photos during my today's walk in the rain (the middle
images).

Olympic gold medalist diver, Matthew Mitcham, recently modeled for Ross Watson.
In his current exhibition he explores the themes of mentoring and isolation,
whilst celebrating Australia's greatest and most respected gay role models.
The paintings reference classical masterpieces, including Caravaggio and Vermeer,
which provide the settings for the narratives and contemporary subjects.
