This brief was called 'Public Transport'. I can't help myself; these photos are a bit
too pretty to show the real chaos that is Sydney Public Transport. Then again, it
was a Saturday when they were taken, but still. Maybe the last ones might do...
Sydney is a busy city with many forms of public transport. Buses and rail are pushed to capacity;
streets are full with taxis and cars. Some people want fewer buses and more green transport
options such as light rail. Same believe the city should be closed to all vehicles and only
accessible on foot or by bike.
Your brief is to shoot a picture that shows the effect that public transport plays in our city. The
picture doesn't have to have a vehicle in it - rather capture the essence of public transport in in
our city. It could be a creative shot of a bus lane, a stop sign or a train ticket. It could be taken
inside, outside, wherever - just use your imagination and go with the theme!
