A very common St. Andrew's Cross spider (Argiope keyserlingi) in our garden has
for the first time in some ten years taken residency on our upstairs deck, giving
me plentiful close-up photo opportunities (not that it was too difficult to
photograph them before in the garden, but now that there's one practically
sharing our living spaces freshens things up).
