Remote Photography

I got this idea whilst listening to Science Friday Podcast (see here): I might try to utilise the multitude of webcams and 360 degree panoramic visions of various locations on earth (and beyond) for 'taking photographs' of places I'll never get to see in person. I have done something similar in the past (Paris rooftops etc.), but this time I might select images that wouldn't be recognisable otherwise as specific places. Here's just a random set of photos...

PS. Science Friday were talking about these giant space images that astronomers all around world farm for details they couldn't see otherwise for lack of access to powerful telescopes.
