Now that the old deck terracotta tiling has been ripped off,
the temporary surface is just too nice to waste:

Having the upstairs deck re-tiled!

The old porous hand-made terracotta tiles had to go
- they'd become totally unclean-able
(admittedly we haven't been re-sealing them every couple of years,
as one should, we now hear).
The new ones are porcelain tiles from Italy.
Here's the first day progress:

Today's Walk - A Goanna, a Bull Ant, Another Goanna And an Eastern Snake-necked Turtle

Where are the snakes, echidnas, platypuses and black cockatoos?
On my wish list, they are..


But today I got lucky on my walk, anyway:
